Thank You, Jade McAdam!
The Concrete Board of Directors wishes to thank Jade McAdam for her three years of service as the ASB Student Representative to the School Board. Jade , your dedication to ensuring students’ voices were heard in board meetings, and your involvement in numerous extracurricular activities and ASB showcased your unwavering commitment to student advocacy and leadership. Your ability to inspire and motivate others, your innovative ideas, and your efforts to include the entire student body in conversations significantly enriched our school community. Your contributions truly made a lasting impact.
Thank you for your service, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors!
Trevor Howard – WASA Student Leadership Award
Trevor Howard was nominated for the Washington Association of School Administrators (WASA) Student Leadership Award for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence. Actively involved in ASB and sports, Trevor’s innovative ideas and volunteerism enhance the school experience, while his mentorship of other athletes fosters teamwork and camaraderie. He positively impacts his peers, teachers, coaches, and staff by modeling professionalism and respect daily. Trevor’s desire to become a teacher speaks volumes about his character and commitment to making a difference in others’ lives. His impact on our school has been significant.
CHS HOLD Notice – 5/29/2024
We are informing you that Concrete High School had a temporary HOLD at approximately 11:00am today. We initiated a HOLD due to a medical emergency. Students and staff were able to return to business as usual at 12:15pm.

Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds
The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) is an independent state agency that helps to reduce educational opportunity gaps by supporting families, students, educators, and other stakeholders in communities across WA in understanding the K-12 school system and resolving concerns collaboratively. OEO services are free and confidential. Anyone can contact OEO with a question or concern about school.

Retirement Celebration Time: 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Join us in thanking Lynda, Jaci, Jim, Debbie, Ray, Renata and Randy (from his Athletic Director position, but not Grounds Maintenance position) for their decades of dedicated service to our students, families, and community.
Between them, they’ve given over a century of their time, talents, and heart to education—and we are incredibly grateful. This will be a casual gathering to express our appreciation and wish them all the best in retirement.
