The Concrete School District seeks interested parties to be appointed to serve on two independent citizen committees to write statements that will appear in the Skagit County Auditor’s Local Voters Pamphlet for the February 2016 special election. These “pro” and “con” committees will prepare statements in favor of and in opposition to the Districts’ upcoming 2016 ballot measure that, if approved, will renew and replace existing capital levies. Notification is being made pursuant to state law, RCW 29A.32.280 and Skagit County Auditor election rules.  Interested residents should contact the Superintendent’s Office at 360-853-4000 for more information.  Requests to serve must be submitted by December 4, 2015.  The Board will approve the list of committee members on December 7, 2015.  Committee members will be notified and must follow procedures as outlined https://wei.sos.wa.gov/county/skagit/en/Documents/Administrative%20rules.pdf .
