Concrete School District received a clean audit from the Washington State Auditor's Office for the 2024–2025 fiscal year.
The audit found no findings, no material weaknesses, no significant deficiencies, and no instances of material noncompliance.

Community members may also be interested in the State Auditor's Financial Intelligence Tool (FIT), which provides a snapshot of the District's financial health. For the first time since the tool has been available, the District has two orange (Cautionary) indicators related to the decline in the General Fund balance and one red (Concerning) indicator related to enrollment decline.

Sealed bids are being solicited by Concrete School District for diesel heating fuel, diesel bus fuel and unleaded gasoline products and will be accepted until 11:00 a.m. on July 8, 2026, at which time bids will be opened. Bids will only be accepted on the bid form provided with the Invitation to Bid and are available at the District Office, 45389 Airport Way, Concrete, WA 98237 or online. The school district reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid by the items or as a whole and to waive informalities or irregularities in the bid or in the bidding process.

Vendors are invited to submit written proposals for providing diesel heating fuel, diesel bus fuel and unleaded gasoline to the Concrete School District from September 1, 2026 through August 31, 2027. It is estimated that approximately 40,000 gallons of heating fuel, 16,000 gallons of bus diesel and 4,000 gallons of unleaded gasoline will be used during this fiscal year. These are estimates only and may vary. Deliveries will be made to the Concrete High School complex. Bid prices quoted are to list specifically all costs to be assessed by the District for product, markup, and all applicable taxes in effect on the bid date. Bidders must submit their bid based on rack price as of July 1, 2026. The successful bidder agrees to include bid rack pricing data supporting monthly invoices throughout the 2026-27 year.
Vendors are required to use a FUEL BID FORM to submit their bids. Each proposal must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked FUEL BID. Proposals are to be received at the District Office, 45389 Airport Way, Concrete WA 98237 by 11:00 a.m. July 8, 2026 at which time the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bidders and any other interested persons are invited to be present. An official bid award to the lowest responsible bidder will be recommended for approval at the July 23rd school board meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Administrative Building, Rm 111.

Join us as we celebrate the Class of 2026 and recognize their hard work and accomplishments.
We hope to see the stands packed as family, friends, and community members come together to celebrate our graduates.
On Wednesday, June 3, the Strategic Planning Committee met for the fourth and final time as a full committee and finalized the proposed framework of the district's strategic plan.
Throughout the spring, committee members reviewed district data, analyzed feedback from listening sessions, discussed district priorities, and worked collaboratively to develop the key components of a proposed strategic plan.
The committee developed proposed:
• Vision Statement • Mission Statement • Foundations (Core Values) • Pillars (Strategic Priority Areas)
The proposed Pillars are:
• Student and Staff Well-Being • Teaching and Learning • Family and Community Engagement • Resource Stewardship
The committee's work will continue through four writing teams, which will develop supporting descriptions for the Foundations and Pillars before the proposed plan is presented to the School Board.
The proposed strategic plan will be presented at:
• Board Workshop – Tuesday, June 16, 6:00 p.m. • Board Meeting – Thursday, June 18, 6:00 p.m.
Both meetings will be held in the Board Room located at 45389 Airport Way, Concrete.
If approved by the School Board, district administrators and staff will spend the summer developing goals, objectives, action steps, timelines, measures of success, and resource allocations aligned to the approved Pillars. The completed strategic plan is anticipated to be finalized before the beginning of the 2026–2027 school year and will guide district priorities, planning, and decision-making over the coming years.
