Concrete Light Walk
Concrete Light Walk - Saturday, January 31 - 5:00 p.m.

A community winter walk celebrating life along the Skagit River.

Meet at the Community Center at 4:30 p.m. Walk begins at 5:00 p.m.

Pick up a free luminary if you don't already have one. The group will walk to the Silo for a group picture then return to the Community Center for warm drinks.

HIgh School Winter Band Concert – Thursday, January 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the MPR
Please join us this Thursday, January 15, for the Winter Band Concert, rescheduled from December due to flooding. Concert begins at 6:00 p.m. in the MPR. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

Please plan to stay for the entire event to show your support for all of our student musicians.

Winter Break
Winter Break is December 20 – January 4, and both schools will be closed during this time.

The District Office will be open for limited hours on December 22, 23, 29, 30, and January 2.

We wish our students, families, and staff a safe and restful break and look forward to welcoming students back on Monday, January 5.

2 Hour Late Start - 12/17/2025
Concrete School District remains on a 2-hour late start today. School starts at 10:30AM. No breakfast will be served.

Transportation to NCTA is available

Extracurricular activities: Games in Orcas and Burlington are still on as scheduled.

Transportation: We have a small number of students who live on Concrete–Sauk Valley Road east of Cedar Grove who will not be able to be picked up by bus today.

Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds

The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) is an independent state agency that helps to reduce educational opportunity gaps by supporting families, students, educators, and other stakeholders in communities across WA in understanding the K-12 school system and resolving concerns collaboratively. OEO services are free and confidential. Anyone can contact OEO with a question or concern about school.
