Concrete School District is excited to announce that we will be offering the Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) for both 3-year-olds and 4-year-olds during the 2026–2027 school year.
ECEAP is a free, high-quality early learning program for eligible families. It helps children develop the academic, social, emotional, language, and developmental skills needed for a successful transition to kindergarten while also providing resources and support for families.
If you have a child who will be 3 or 4 years old for the 2026–2027 school year, we encourage you to complete the interest form through the Northwest Educational Service District.
Visit www.nwesd.org/eceap to:
You can also learn more about our ECEAP program by visiting our Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program page:
By expanding our early learning offerings to include ECEAP alongside our Transition to Kindergarten (TK) program, Concrete School District is creating additional opportunities for young children to build a strong foundation for lifelong learning. We look forward to welcoming our newest learners and partnering with families as they begin their educational journey.

On Wednesday, June 3, the Strategic Planning Committee met for the fourth and final time as a full committee and finalized the proposed framework of the district's strategic plan.
Throughout the spring, committee members reviewed district data, analyzed feedback from listening sessions, discussed district priorities, and worked collaboratively to develop the key components of a proposed strategic plan.
The committee developed proposed:
• Vision Statement • Mission Statement • Foundations (Core Values) • Pillars (Strategic Priority Areas)
The proposed Pillars are:
• Student and Staff Well-Being • Teaching and Learning • Family and Community Engagement • Resource Stewardship
The committee's work will continue through four writing teams, which will develop supporting descriptions for the Foundations and Pillars before the proposed plan is presented to the School Board.
The proposed strategic plan will be presented at:
• Board Workshop – Tuesday, June 16, 6:00 p.m. • Board Meeting – Thursday, June 18, 6:00 p.m.
