    Our Middle School Boys Basketball Team plays their first game of the season this Thursday, November 6, at Orcas Island at 5:00 p.m.

    Let’s wish our Lions the best as they start their season strong — Go Lions! 💜💛

    Lions Volleyball Moves On — Next Stop: Lacey!

    🏐 Go Lions! 🦁

    Our Concrete Volleyball Team won their first postseason match on Saturday against Lopez Island and will now advance to the next round!

    They’ll face Northwest Christian in Lacey tomorrow, Tuesday, November 4, at 3:00 p.m. — this is a loser-out match, so let’s send them all our Lion pride and support! 💜💛

    If they win, they’ll play again at 5:00 p.m., and with another win, at 7:00 p.m. the same night.

    Let’s cheer them on as they fight their way through postseason play — Go Lions! 🦁💜

    Volleyball Advance to face Lopez Island, Sat. Nov 1

    A great start to the postseason for Lady Lions Volleyball!

    After a win against Evangelical Classical at Darrington, they advance to face Lopez Island at Lummi on Saturday, Nov. 1 at 10:00 a.m.

    We’ll have a team send-off on Friday at lunch—let’s cheer them on as they continue their postseason run! 💜💛

    Please note the following changes to this and next week’s volleyball schedule:

    Thursday, October 23 – Away @ Coupeville

    • JV: 5:00 p.m. Varsity: 6:30 p.m. (This game was originally scheduled as a home match.)

    Friday, October 24 – Home vs. Evangelical Classical

    • Varsity Only: 5:00 p.m. (Newly added game.)

    Monday, October 27 – Away @ Darrington

    • Time: TBD (Rescheduled from Tuesday, October 28.)

    Wednesday, October 29 – Postseason: First Round (“Pigtail” Round) @ Darrington. Opponent: Evangelical Classical

    • Time: TBD

    Come out and support our Lions as they finish the regular season and head into postseason play! 💜💛

    🏈 Saturday Night Lights & Final Regular-Season Games! 🦁

    Join us this Saturday at 6:00 p.m. as the Concrete Lions take on Darrington in our last home regular-season football game!

    💜💛 Theme: PURPLE & GOLD! Let’s fill the stands with Lion Pride and celebrate our team under the lights!

    Then, the Lions hit the road for their final regular-season game on Friday, November 1, at Neah Bay — kickoff at 1:00 p.m.

    Let’s cheer them on as they close out the regular season strong!

Northwest A/B Sportsmanship

    Examples of good sportsmanship:
    – applauding during the introduction of players
    – giving verbal credit after a good play or action
    – accepting all decisions by the officials with “class”
    – being positive toward own team
    – applauding at the end of the contest for both teams
    – showing concern for injured players
    – shaking hands with opposing players and coaches following the game
    – encouraging surrounding people to be positive
    Examples of poor sportsmaship:
    – being disrespectful or derogatory toward opponents or referees
    – refusing to shake hands or give recognition for good performances
    – displaying anger that draws attention away from the game
    – harassing opponents after the game outside  of the playing area (i.e. gym lobby)
    – distracting opponents (i.e. free throws)
