Gov. Jay Inslee has directed a statewide indoor mask mandate that takes effect on Monday, Aug. 23 due to the high rate of COVID-19 transmission.
All Concrete School District employees, students and visitors will be required to wear a mask indoors at all school district facilities and school buses, regardless of vaccination status. This includes all Boys and Girls Club sites.
The only exceptions for staff will be “in office spaces not easily accessible to the public where individuals are verified to be vaccinated, and when working alone indoors or in a vehicle with no public face-to-face interaction.”
There is no requirement to wear a mask while outside on school campuses, regardless of vaccination status.
