Concrete School District Update
March 24, 2020
I hope this message finds all our students, families, and community members safe and healthy while we yet again transition based on the Covid-19 virus as well as the Governor’s directive last evening. Our current food service program has been going well and it will continue during Spring Break (the week of April 6-10). Delivery of meals will continue during the break as we recognize this is a need for our families. Thank you very much to our staff for their efforts on behalf of our students and community. I am very proud of the response and willingness to lend a hand.
Beginning Monday March 30th instructional resources will increase for students in the Concrete School District. We will be focusing on delivery of material in a variety of methods including, online delivery, packets and teacher contact by phone, email, Zoom and many other platforms to reach our students. We will also have a heavy focus on making certain our seniors are progressing toward their graduation goals. This situation will remain fluid and we will provide as many resources as possible for students and families. In the next few days there will be more information provided by principals and teachers regarding instruction and student expectations for learning. Please monitor the website and click on the Covid-19 update button for the most recent information. Staff will be organizing and communicating from safe locations for them and their families during the restrictions, but they can be reached during school hours as they have communicated with all of you. Please stay safe and adhere to the stay-at-home order as instructed by the Governor during these challenging times.
