We are thrilled to announce that the Washington School Recognition Program has honored Concrete Elementary School for its exceptional progress in closing opportunity gaps for the whole school for the 2022-2023 school year. The District was informed of this honor on June 21, 2024.

The Washington School Recognition Program, previously known as the Washington Achievement Awards, highlights schools across the state that have made notable advancements in student outcomes. This program, in collaboration with the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI), the State Board of Education (SBE), and the Educational Opportunity Gap Oversight and Accountability Committee (EOGOAC), identifies schools needing improvement and provides essential resources and support through the Washington School Improvement Framework (WSIF).

In recognition of this achievement, Concrete Elementary School will receive a banner to proudly display in our school building, symbolizing our entire school community’s hard work and dedication.
