Leader in Me

Leader in Me

Concrete Elementary is a “Leader in Me” school. Going on its fourth year this leadership model assists in integrating a culture of character and leadership into the already challenging school experience with our students, staff, and community based on the principles of the late Dr. Stephen R. Covey’s “7 Habits of Highly Effective People.”

The Leader in Me brings the “7 Habits” into the elementary school setting where students can begin to develop these very important skills in Kindergarten. This model embraces the beliefs and values of our school community. Concrete Elementary believes that ALL students can be leaders, whether it is through community service, sports, technology, academics and more. We believe that developing the “7 Habits” positively impacts ALL of our students, creating better learners and better future citizens of Concrete, WA.
