Happy School Board Recognition Month!

This month, we want to give a huge thank you to the amazing board members of Concrete School District: Laura Schmidt, Mike Brondi, Janet Culver, Paul Rogge, and Arthur Sanchez. Their dedication and leadership truly make a difference in our school community.

The role of a school board is much bigger than any one person can take on, which is why it’s so important to have a strong, collaborative team. Our board members focus on ensuring educational excellence, supporting policies that help our school succeed, managing budgets efficiently, and advocating for our community and students.

This year’s theme, Building the Future of Public Education, perfectly reflects our board’s ongoing commitment to shaping a brighter future for our students.

We are so grateful for their service and leadership. Thank you for all you do to help the Concrete School District thrive!

Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds

The Washington State Governor’s Office of the Education Ombuds (OEO) is an independent state agency that helps to reduce educational opportunity gaps by supporting families, students, educators, and other stakeholders in communities across WA in understanding the K-12 school system and resolving concerns collaboratively. OEO services are free and confidential. Anyone can contact OEO with a question or concern about school.
