The week of February 25th through March 1st we will be celebrating Read Across America Week and Dr. Seuss’s birthday.
We will be celebrating with daily dress up days and an evening family event on Thursday, February 28th from 5:30-6:30 in the Elementary Gym!

Book Swap – February 28th, 5:30-6:15pm
Do you have any books you have read and you are ready to let go of?
- Bring them to the Read Across America Night Book Swap on Thursday (February 28th) and trade them in for “new” to you books. **Bring your books to Mrs. Olsen’s room starting on Monday (Feb. 25th) for your tickets for the swap!**
How does it work?
- Bring in any number of gently used books that others may want for their own. You will get a ticket for each book in good condition, and then you can use your tickets to get any of the books that are there in the book swap room.
It is that simple!
- Remember to start going through your books now and collect what you would like to trade in for “new” to you books!!!
